Short description:
This vase for dried flowers is characterized by a bulbous shape, which makes the transition from the darker to the lighter wood more visible. The black inclusions and a knothole, which stands out clearly on the light wood, are further emphasized by the shape. The diameter of the vase is approx. 10 cm.
Material:
This vase shows off the characteristic contrast between the sapwood and heartwood of the yew wood . The wood comes from a gardener and landscaper from Hundsmühlen, who originally intended it for the firewood stack - far too good for the noble yew! We were able to exchange the sections for other wood and give them a new life through various art objects.
Please note : This vase is made of wood and is therefore only suitable for dried flowers. Filling it with water is not possible as this would damage the material.
