This set of three square boxes that fit together was developed in collaboration with master carpenter Theo Mayr, based in Moldova. The boxes are made of solid, finger-jointed robinia.
Large box: approx. 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm
Middle box: approx. 9 cm x 9 cm
Small box: approx. 6 cm x 6 cm
Material:
The wood for these boxes comes from therobinia tree, which originally comes from North America but is now also widespread in Europe. For these objects, robinia from Eastern Europe is used, where it is processed locally. Robinia is characterized by its high density, which results in the remarkable weight and stability of the products made from it.
