This elegant click ballpoint pen is turned from plum wood. Plum wood is characterized by a warm, slightly violet color and a fine grain. For this model, I used a piece that has a strong color contrast because it is made of heartwood and sapwood.

The wood for this mechanical pencil has been stored since the 1970s or 1980s by a family friend who collects wood from old fruit trees.
