Short description:
These salt and pepper mills made of olive wood are characterized by their timeless design and the high quality of the material and the grinder. The ceramic grinder was made by the company Crushgrind in Denmark. The wood of the olive has a particularly beautiful, curved grain. Fine sanding gives the olive wood a smooth surface that is comfortable to hold.
Since the two mills have a very similar shape, the letters S and P are lasered into them to make them easier to distinguish.
Material:
The wood of the olive tree is hard, dense and extremely durable. It has an attractive wavy grain that ranges in color from light yellow to dark brown. Due to its strength and natural resistance to pests, olive wood is often used for high-quality furniture, kitchen utensils and handicrafts. The warm, elegant look makes it a sought-after material in woodworking, especially for smaller objects such as bowls, cutting boards or decorative pieces.
The fineness of the grinder can be adjusted using a screw. Ceramic is a durable material for grinders and ensures a long service life for the mill. The head of the mill is connected to the grinder via an aluminum rod and secured with a spring so that it does not fall off if the mill falls over.
To prevent the wood from warping and to ensure smooth grinding, a POM (plastic) ring is glued to the top of the grinding body.
