Short description:
These cutting boards are the result of my collaboration with master carpenter Theo Mayr from Moldova. They are made from finger-jointed robinia and have brass feet with rubber studs that prevent them from slipping on the surface. Thanks to their heavy and robust construction, the boards sit firmly on the kitchen surface.
To make lifting easier, there are recessed handles on the sides.
The cutting boards shown here in size L measure 50 x 30 x 4 cm and are characterized by their solid construction and the robinia wood used, which guarantees them a long service life.
Material:
The wood for these cutting boards comes from the robinia tree , which originally comes from North America but is now also widespread in Europe. Robinia from Eastern Europe is used for these cutting boards, where it is processed locally. Robinia is characterized by its high density, which results in the remarkable weight and stability of the products made from it.
