Short description:
This harmoniously coordinated pair of vases consists of two different shapes and has heights of approx. 19.5 cm and approx. 22.5 cm.
Material:
The used beech wood I recovered it together with my friend Lasse from a forest near Oldenburg. The special grain of the beech is the result of the wood's stagnation . This occurs when the wood lies on the forest floor for a long time (in this case at least two years) and is colonized by fungi that decompose it. If this process is interrupted at the right time by drying the wood, interesting patterns such as black lines and unique color nuances are created.
Please note : This pair of vases is made of wood and is therefore only suitable for dried flowers. Filling them with water is not possible as this would damage the material.
