About me
For me, my wood crafts are one of the most positive consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am actually a trained chef with a bachelor's degree from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. However, during the various lockdowns, I spent a lot of time at my parents' house, which is strongly influenced by crafts and especially wood crafts.
My friend Lasse, who is passionate about wood turning alongside his work as a carpenter, introduced me to wood turning. After a short introduction from him, I was immediately hooked on this craft. Since then, I have spent every free minute in the workshop, letting the chips fly.
In my work, I combine sustainability ideas with high aesthetic standards. Many of my projects use wood that would otherwise have ended up as firewood - especially burls from my father's sawmill. At the same time, my love of wood has now gripped me so much that I also specifically buy or trade rare or particularly beautiful woods.
My products are manufactured in Berlin and Oldenburg. I know the origin of all the materials I use and can guarantee that they were harvested legally and processed under fair working conditions. For me, this is also part of a responsible timber industry.
